These line up choices drive me nuts.... Zubs being on the second line was being nice... he should be moved down the depth chart... or kept were he was.

Clowe - Henrique - Ryder
Ruutu - Gio - Tootoo

Perfect healthy team

It boogles my mind sometimes how things are run, sure missing some of our off season pieces. PK took a hit loosing Fayne and Carter. And the lack of accoutability on our captain and his performance in games drive me mad...... ( I felt all these feelings as well starting 3 - 0) the 4th line looks like horse poop other than Ruutu... it Drives me nuts to know Salvador is wearing the C.

Went to the Jets home opener (against the Preds ) and just seeing the battle and willingness to help his team out block shots. I wish we had A-train still instead of this turd.

I honestly think the Merrill, gelinas pairing suffers because Merrill is forced to his off side

so EK had posted rumor that NJ had preliminary discussions with SJ involving a "major veteran asset" from SJ in exchange for Larsson and a pick.

Typical PDB decision regarding the 4th line what a (frank)ing idiot. At least he finally realizes Gelly and Merril have no chemistry but it will only matter if Sal stops being 2nd one the team in ice time...I am interested in a Merril-Larsson pairing though could be real solid.

yup. "boggles" btw. Ruutu looks very good on that line, but maybe it's because the other 2 are so useless. It's really sad. Josefson wasn't bad with Poni and Clarkson. I still would rather Gomez in the middle, but at least give Ruutu-Josefson-Brunner a chance.

It's cause this guy is in (frank)ing love with Gio despite the fact Gio is terrible. He starts him and Sal on every PK and Sal is out there about 75-85% of the kill. And yeha I wouldn't mind Gomer either at the very least he should be able to carry the puck in on the PP and set up. We can't get in the zone at all yet again this year it seems.

I can't argue sitting Gelinas, he was brutal Saturday night. Time to give Larsson a chance.

I don't like PDB's move putting Zubrus on the first line. Zubrus, Zajac and Jagr are all guys who don't shoot. So why put them all together? Because it was so great last year (saracastic)?

I don't think there is a need to shake up the offense too much. Chances are there they just haven't buried them all. That being said, I do think they lose some offense with Henrique in the middle of two really slow players in Clowe and Ryder. But I don't see what the other options are right now.

Agreed, with Merrill back on the left and Larsson being on the right I think we could see an improvement in Merrill's play. Gelinas was the right choice to sit. He seems somewhat lost and his shot, his biggest plus, has been erratic so far this year.

It's cause this guy is in (frank)ing love with Gio despite the fact Gio is terrible. He starts him and Sal on every PK and Sal is out there about 75-85% of the kill. To be honest, I think Zubrus has played well so far. But I don't get the switch. He looked good with Elias and Havlat. And even though Deboer made that switch for the 3rd period on Saturday, Jagr and Zajac were on the ice for Cammalleri's goal (Jagr fed him the puck for the one-timer) because he took an extended shift, and the Henrique line scored the other goal.

And it pisses me off that Ruutu is the one sitting. He's the only one of those 3 who should be on an NHL roster.

At least Larsson is in, though.
